Meurs, and P. Goldoni report  \non behalf of the REM/ROSS team:\n\nWe imaged the field of GRB 061019 (Guidorzi et al. GCN 5728, 5729)   \nwith the  robotic 60-cm REM telescope located at La Silla (Chile). A  \nfirst set  of observations was performed automatically in the optical  \nand near infrared (V,R,I and z', J, H, K bands) starting on October  \n19 5:23 UT.\n\nA preliminary analysis reveals an uncatalogued source of K ~ 14.5 at  \nRA,DEC = (06:06:30.85, +29:34:13.3).\n\nAt present we cannot say whether this source is fading or not.  \nFurther observations are in progress.\n\nThis message may be cited.\n\n[GCN OPS NOTE(19oct06): Per author's request, Vergani was added to the author list.]",
