Ziaeepour (UCL-MSSL) report on behalf of the Swift Team:\n\nAt 09:10:34 UT, the Swift Burst Alert Telescope (BAT) triggered and\nlocated GRB 070208 (trigger=259714). Swift slewed immediately to the burst. \nThe BAT on-board calculated location is \nRA, Dec 197.920, +61.959 which is \n RA(J2000) = 13h 11m 41s\n Dec(J2000) = +61d 57' 31\"\nwith an uncertainty of 3 arcmin (radius, 90% containment, including \nsystematic uncertainty). The BAT light curve shows a single peak structure\nwith a duration of about 2 sec. The peak count rate\nwas ~1200 counts/sec (15-350 keV), at ~0 sec after the trigger. \n\nThe XRT began taking data at 09:12:29 UT, 116 seconds after the BAT\ntrigger. XRT could not centroid onboard, however in a 222 s ground-processed \nimage, we found a previously uncatalogued X-ray source in the field of view at\nthe following coordinates:\nRA(J2000) = 13h 11m 32.77s\nDec(J2000)= +61d 57' 55.17\"\nwith an uncertainty of 5 arcseconds radius (90% containment). \nThis position lies 63 arcseconds from the center of the BAT error circle. \nThe approximate initial flux is 1.044e-11 erg/cm2/sec (0.2-10 keV). \n\nUVOT took a finding chart exposure of 100 seconds with the White\n(160-650 nm) filter starting 119 seconds after the BAT trigger. No\nafterglow candidate has been found in the initial data products. The\n2.7'x2.7' sub-image covers 100% of the XRT error circle. The typical\n3-sigma upper limit has been about 18.5 mag. The 8'x8' region for the\nlist of sources generated on-board covers 100% of the XRT error\ncircle. The list of sources is typically complete to about 18 mag. No\ncorrection has been made for the expected extinction corresponding to \nE(B-V) of 0.01.",
