Vergani,  F. Vitali report on behalf of the REM team:\n\nThe robotic 60-cm REM telescope located at La Silla (Chile) observed \nautomatically the field of the GRB 080207 (Racusin et al., GCN 7264). A \npreliminary analysis of the first set of JHK exposures does not reveal \nany optical afterglow candidate inside the XRT error box (Beardmore et \nal., GCN 7265)  We derive the following 3sigma upper limits (calibrated \nagainst the 2MASS catalog):\n\nJ > 16.7 (7.8 hours after the burst)\nH > 15.9 (7.7 hours after the burst)\nK > 13.9 (10.1 hours after the burst)",
