Vitali  \nreport on behalf of the REM team:\n\nThe robotic 60-cm REM telescope located at La Silla (Chile) observed  \nautomatically the field of the GRB 080218B (Schady et al., GCN 7314).  \nA preliminary analysis of the first set of H and K-band exposures  \ndoes not reveal any afterglow candidate inside the refined XRT error  \nbox (Osborne et al., GCN 7320). The 3sigma upper limits of our images  \nare H > 13.7 about 2 minutes after the burst and K > 12.6 about 8  \nminutes after the burst (calibrated against the 2MASS catalog).\n\nFurther analysis is in progress.",
