Vitali report on behalf of the REM  \nteam:\n\nThe robotic 60-cm REM telescope located at La Silla (Chile) observed  \nautomatically the field of the GRB 080310  on March 10 08:40:27 UT\n(about 150 seconds after the burst).\n\nWe detect the afterglow reported in GCN 7381 and 8383 (Chornock et  \nal.) and GCN 7382 (Cummings et al.).\n\nThe object has H~14.5 at about 5 min from the burst time.\n\nFurther analyses and observations are in progress.",
