Ukwatta (GWU)\n(i.e. the Swift-BAT team):\n \nUsing the data set from T-240 to T+963 sec from recent telemetry downlinks,\nwe report further analysis of BAT GRB 080330 (trigger #308041)\n(Mao, et al., GCN Circ. 7537). The BAT ground-calculated position is\nRA, Dec = 169.278, 30.607 deg, which is \n RA(J2000) = 11h 17m 06.7s \n Dec(J2000) = +30d 36' 24.1\" \nwith an uncertainty of 1.8 arcmin, (radius, sys+stat, 90% containment).\nThe partial coding was 53%.\n \nThe mask-weighted light curve shows an initial set of 3 overlapping peaks\n(the brightest first) starting at ~T_zero, and the 3rd ending at ~T+15 sec,\nthen it returns to baseline. A 4th peak starts at roughly T+50 sec and\nends at roughly T+70 sec. T90 (15-350 keV) is 61 +- 9 sec\n(estimated error including systematics).\n \nThe time-averaged spectrum from T-0.5 to T+71.9 sec is best fit by a simple\npower-law model. The power law index of the time-averaged spectrum is\n2.53 +- 0.45. The fluence in the 15-150 keV band is 3.4 +- 0.8 x 10^-7 erg/cm2.\nThe 1-sec peak photon flux measured from T+0.44 sec in the 15-150 keV band\nis 0.9 +- 0.2 ph/cm2/sec. All the quoted errors are at the 90% confidence\nlevel. \n \nThe results of the batgrbproduct analysis are available at\nhttp://gcn.gsfc.nasa.gov/notices_s/308041/BA/\n \nWe note that the fluence ratio in a simple power-law fit between the\n25-50 keV band and the 50-100 keV band is 1.44. This fluence ratio is larger\nthan 1.32 which can be achieved in the Band function of alpha=-1.0, beta=-2.5,\nand Epeak=30 keV. Thus, preliminary analysis shows that Epeak of the burst\nis very likely around or below 30 keV. Therefore the burst can be classified\nas an X-ray flash (e.g. Sakamoto et al. ApJ in press, arXiv:0801.4319).",
