Budapest and MPE) \nreport on behalf of the GROND team:\n\n\nWe observed the field of GRB 080514B (Rapisarda et al., GCN 7715; Giuliani \net al., GCN 7716) simultaneously in g'r'i'z'JHK using the multi-channel \nimager GROND (Greiner et al. 2008, PASP 120, 405) mounted at the 2.2m \nMPI/ESO telescope on La Silla (Chile). Observations started at 7:03 UT, \nabout 21 h after the burst.\n\nThe afterglow candidate reported by de Ugarte Postigo et al. (GCN 7719) is \ndetected in g'r'i'z'. Preliminary photometry yields g' = 19.95 +/- 0.2, \ncalibrated against NOMAD field stars.
