Vitali report on behalf of the REM team:\n\nThe robotic 60-cm REM telescope located at La Silla (Chile) observed \nautomatically the field of the GRB 080710 (Sbarufattion et al. GCN 7957, \n7958) on July 10 starting at 07:14:36 UT.\n\nWe can detect in optical and NIR bands the object reported by Li et al. \n(GCN 7959). The object is variable and we measure a brightening from H ~ \n15.0 to H ~14.3 between two epochs of observations (arount 07:21 and \n08:47 UT, respectively). Further analysis is ongoing.",
