Zadko, A. Imerito, D. Blair, R. Burman,\nP. Luckas, S. Gordon, K. Frost, A. Fletcher, J. Moore\n(University of Western Australia)\nM. Todd, M. Zadnik (Curtin University)\nM. Boer, A. Klotz (TAROT)\n\nThe Zadko telescope started observing the field of\nGRB 090313 (trigger=346386, Mao et al. GCN 8980)\n4.26h after the Swift trigger, under difficult conditions due to\nsignificant sky brightness from the Moon.\n\nPreliminary photometry of unfiltered images\ntaken with an iKon DW436BV camera show a slow\ndecay of the optical afterglow:\n\n\nTime(s) Magnitude\n-------------------------------------\n21356 18.02 +/- 0.08\n22662 18.49 +/- 0.10\n24115 18.49 +/- 0.10\n26028 18.62 +/- 0.09\n27890 18.78 +/- 0.09\n29834 18.84 +/- 0.12\n\nMagnitudes were calibrated with respect to the\nnearby USNOB1 star 0980-0264084 (13 13 36.392\n+08 04 47.69). The optical afterglow is close\nto a 16.37 magnitude galaxy (PGC 1338801).\n\nThe Zadko Telescope is currently being commissioned.\nThis message is quotable in publications\n\n\nDr David Coward\nSenior Research Fellow\nSchool of Physics\nUniversity of Western Australia\nCrawley WA 6009\n\nTel: +61 8 6488 4563\nMobile 0423981240\nFax: +61 8 6488 1170",
