Salotti (ASI),\non behalf of the AGILE Team, report:\n\n\"SuperAGILE detected a gamma ray burst on 24 March 2009, at 02:48:09 UT.\nThe event had a duration of about 30 s in the 20-60 keV energy range,\nwith an overall FRED-like time structure. Assuming a crab-like energy \nspectrum, the peak flux on 1-s timescale was 1.8E-07 erg/cm2/s.\nThe burst position was reconstructed  as (RA, Dec)\n(257.178, -48.147) deg, which is:\n\nRA(J2000)  = 17h 08m 42.73s\nDec(J2000) = -48d 08' 47.59\"\n\nwith an uncertainty of 3' radius. The given uncertainty accounts\nfor both the statistical and systematic errors.\n\nAn analysis of the AGILE Gamma Ray Imager (GRID) data is in progress.\"\n\nThis message may be cited.",
