Dolci, Osservatorio Astronomico di Teramo, Italy,\non behalf of a larger collaboration report:\n\n\"We observed the BeppoSAX WFC error circle of GRB 010214 \n(Gandolfi, GCN #933) with the AZT-24 1.1-meter telescope \nat Campo Imperatore (AQ), Italy.\n\nThe J-band observation started at February 15.17928 UT and \nthe field was imaged for a total exposure time of 2550 sec. \nWe detected a faint point-like source which is not present \nin the Digital Sky Survey-2 IR, R and B plates nor the\n2MASS plates. The source is located at:\n\n    RA(J2000)=   17h 40m 54.0s\n    DEC(J2000)= +48d 32' 20\"\n    (uncertainty is 2\")\n\nThis position lies within the WFC error circle (GCN #933)\nand is just outside the BeppoSAX NFI error circle quoted\nby Gandolfi GCN #937.\n\nThe source was detected with a S/N=12 and had a magnitude of \nJ=19.1+/-0.3.\n\nFurther observations are needed in order to confirm that this \nis the IR counterpart of GRB 010214.\n\nThe J-band image is posted at \nhttp://argos.mporzio.astro.it/angelo/grb010214/\n\nThis message is citable.\"",
