  "body": "The U. S. Naval Observatory GRB team (A. A. Henden, C. B. Luginbuhl,\nF. J. Vrba, B. Canzian, S. E. Levine, H. H. Guetter, J. A. Munn)\nreport follow up optical photometry of the secondary standards\n(see Henden, et. A. GCN 16) in the field of GRB971214.  The\nobservations were made on four photometric nights since the burst\nwith the USNO 1.0m telescope.  Johnson-Cousins BVRI filters were\nused, with an average of 50 Landolt standards of wide color range\nand extinction observed on each night.  The transformations are\naccurate to 0.01-0.02mag per single observation.  DAOPHOT psf fitting\nwas used in the GRB field, with magnitude corrections to adjust the\nphotometry to a standard aperture diameter.
