"body": "Colleen A. Wilson-Hodge (NASA/MSFC)\nreports on behalf of the Fermi GBM Team:\n\n\"At 00:51:26.21 UT on 17 August 2009, the Fermi Gamma-Ray Burst Monitor\ntriggered and located GRB 090817 (trigger 272163088 / 090817036).\nwhich was also detected by INTEGRAL (Beckmann et al. 2009, GCN 9815)\nThe GBM on-ground location is consistent with the INTEGRAL position.\n \nThe angle from the Fermi LAT boresight is 82 degrees.\n\nThe GBM light curve consists of an initial bright peak at the trigger time\nfollowed by a weak broad bump about 200 s after the trigger. This burst has\na duration (T90) of about 220 s (8-1000 keV).\n\nSpectral analysis was performed only for the bright initial peak. The\ntime-averaged spectrum from T0 to T0+41 s is adequately fit by a Band\nfunction with Epeak = 115 +/- 50 keV, alpha = -1.1 +/- 0.3, and\nbeta = -2.2 +/- 0.6\n\nThe event fluence (8-1000 keV) over the T90 interval is\n(7.3 +/- 0.1)E-06 erg/cm^2. The 1-sec peak photon flux measured\nstarting from T0+1.15 s in the 8-1000 keV band\nis 3.8 +/- 0.3 ph/s/cm^2.\n\nThe spectral analysis results presented above are preliminary;\nfinal results will be published in the GBM GRB Catalog.\"",
