Ukwatta (GWU)\n(i.e. the Swift-BAT team):\n\nUsing the data set from T-61 to T+242 sec from the recent telemetry\ndownlink, we report further analysis of BAT GRB 090831 (trigger #361489)\n(Schady, et al., GCN Circ. 9854). The BAT ground-calculated position is\nRA, Dec = 108.294, -25.112 deg which is\n RA(J2000) = 07h 13m 10.6s\n Dec(J2000) = -25d 06' 44.0\"\nwith an uncertainty of 2.1 arcmin, (radius, sys+stat, 90% containment).\nThe partial coding was 84%.\n\nThe mask-weighted light curve shows a single roughly symmetrical peak.\nT90 (15-350 keV) is 3.3 +- 1.0 sec (estimated error including systematics).\n\nThe time-averaged spectrum from T+0.6 to T+4.9 sec is best fit by a simple\npower-law model. The power law index of the time-averaged spectrum is\n1.33 +- 0.29. The fluence in the 15-150 keV band is\n1.5 +- 0.3 x 10^-07 erg/cm2. The 1-sec peak photon flux measured from\nT+1.94 sec in the 15-150 keV band is 0.5 +- 0.1 ph/cm2/sec. All the quoted\nerrors are at the 90% confidence level.\n\nThe results of the batgrbproduct analysis are available at\nhttp://gcn.gsfc.nasa.gov/notices_s/361489/BA/",
