H. A. Krimm (CRESST/GSFC/USRA), A. Melandri (INAF-OAB),
D. M. Palmer (LANL) and M. H. Siegel (PSU) report on behalf of the
Swift Team:

Further analysis of the Swift/BAT data from the Swift trigger 707517
(Racusin et al, GCN 19780) shows no significant features in the

imageor the light curve.

In 1.9 ks of XRT data, starting 0.3 ks after the trigger, no X-ray
sourcesare detected within the BAT error circle, to a 3-sigma upper
limit of 4.2e-3 count s^-1. For a typical GRB spectrum, this
corresponds to a 0.3-10 keV observed flux limit of 1.6e-13 erg cm^-2s^-1.

The combined data from BAT and XRT now show this trigger to be due to noise,
and is not astrophysical.
