Mars Odyssey - HEND, HETE - FREGATE, and Konus-Wind observed this short
(~180 ms) burst at 60748 s. We have triangulated it to a preliminary,
3 sigma error box whose area is ~ 6700 sq. arcmin. and whose
coordinates are:

        RA(2000) DEC(2000)
 11 h 29 m 28.34 s 42 o 54 ' 4.77 " (CENTER)
 11 h 48 m 39.60 s 39 o 41 ' 53.44 " (CORNER)
 11 h 48 m 26.73 s 39 o 28 ' 28.57 " (CORNER)
 11 h 7 m 54.94 s 45 o 22 ' 35.24 " (CORNER)
 11 h 7 m 52.77 s 45 o 10 ' 47.92 " (CORNER)

As this error box lies far from the Galactic plane, this
event is most likely a short-duration, hard-spectrum GRB,
rather than an SGR.

Because the Mars Odyssey response is rather weak (~3 sigma),
confirmation of this position from a fourth spacecraft will
be required.
