"We have observed the field covering the error box of GRB040823
(INTEGRAL trigger 1958; trigger time 10:15:51 UT) with the
unfiltered CCD camera on the 30-cm telescope at University of
Miyazaki.The observation was started 11:31:37 UT on Aug.23.
Observed field of view is 43 arcmin centerd on (18h 08m 36s -20d 42' 59").
After co-adding a set of 2 images of 30 sec exposures , we have
compared with the USNO A2.0 catalog . Preliminary analysis shows
there is no new source brighter than 16.9 mag. in the GRB error box
reported by INTEGRAL. "
