The Fermi GBM team reports the detection of a likely LONG GRB

At 00:27:49 UT on 16 Oct 2020, the Fermi Gamma-ray Burst Monitor (GBM) triggered and located GRB 201016A (trigger 624500874.592646 / 201016019).

The on-ground calculated location, using the Fermi GBM trigger data, is RA = 174.3, Dec = -2.0 (J2000 degrees, equivalent to J2000 11h 37m, -2d 00'), with a statistical uncertainty of 1.0 degrees.

The angle from the Fermi LAT boresight is 93.0 degrees.
