We observed the soft gamma-ray repeater SGR 1806-20 with the Very Large
Array (VLA) in the A-configuration for a third time on January 5, 2005
for one hour (mean epoch approx 1600 UT). (See GCN #2928, #2929, #2933;
ATEL #373, #375 for earlier results).
Preliminary flux levels for 2005-Jan-05.66 are as follows:
4.9 GHz: 57(2) mJy
8.5 GHz: 31(2) mJy
The source continues to fade, but at a slower rate consistent with a power law of
index -1.6(2) at 4.9 GHz. Further observations will take place on January 6.
