The Fermi GBM team reports the detection of a likely LONG GRB

At 05:23:52 UT on 20 Oct 2022, the Fermi Gamma-ray Burst Monitor (GBM) triggered and located GRB 221020A (trigger 687936237.82563 / 221020225).

The on-ground calculated location, using the Fermi GBM trigger data, is RA = 172.9, Dec = 16.0 (J2000 degrees, equivalent to J2000 11h 31m, 16d 00'), with a statistical uncertainty of 3.0 degrees.

The angle from the Fermi LAT boresight is 36.0 degrees.
