I.A. Smith (U. Hawaii), D.A. Perley (LJMU), and N.R. Tanvir
(U. of Leicester) report:

We have been observing the location of the transient AT2023lcr
(Swain et al. GCN Circ. 34022; Fulton et al. GCN Circ. 34042)
using the SCUBA-2 sub-millimeter continuum camera on the James
Clerk Maxwell Telescope. No counterpart has been detected in
the individual night or combined maps. Combining all the data,
the RMS background noise was 1.7 mJy/beam at 850 microns and
30.1 mJy/beam at 450 microns; the mid-point of the run was at
2023-06-23.738 UT.

We thank Andrea Waiters, Harold Pena, and the JCMT staff for
the prompt support of these observations that were taken under
project M23AP018.
