The Fermi GBM team reports the detection of a likely LONG GRB
At 18:17:52 UT on 27 Aug 2023, the Fermi Gamma-ray Burst Monitor (GBM) triggered and located GRB 230827A (trigger 714853077.93055 / 230827762).
The on-ground calculated location, using the Fermi GBM trigger data, is RA = 319.1, Dec = -23.9 (J2000 degrees, equivalent to J2000 21h 16m, -23d 53'), with a statistical uncertainty of 1.0 degrees.
The angle from the Fermi LAT boresight is 95.0 degrees.
