The Fermi GBM team reports the detection of a likely SHORT GRB
At 11:03:14 UT on 15 Jan 2024, the Fermi Gamma-ray Burst Monitor (GBM) triggered and located GRB 240115A (trigger 727009399.105114 / 240115461).
The on-ground calculated location, using the Fermi GBM trigger data, is RA = 16.3, Dec = 25.0 (J2000 degrees, equivalent to J2000 01h 05m, 25d 00'), with a statistical uncertainty of 4.4 degrees.
The angle from the Fermi LAT boresight is 37.0 degrees.
