We observed the field of Swift localization of GRB 240204A (Cenko et al., GCN 35666Not found
 
 
) which is also detected be GMB/Fermi (Fermi GBM team GCN 35664Not found
 
 
)  with AZT-33IK telescope of Mondy observatory  starting on  2024-02-04 (UT) 16:05:26. In the first images of 60 s exposure  we detected the object in coordinates of (J2000) 06:56:43.36, +01:01:37.7 with uncertainties of 0.2 arcsec in both coordinates. The position of the object is within XRT afterglow localization (Cenko et al., GCN 35666Not found
 
 
).  The object is absent in PS1 catalogue. Preliminary photometry of the object is R ~ 20.6 based on USNO-B1.0 (R2) nearby stars.

We suggest the source is an afterglow of GRB 240204A.
