The Fermi GBM team reports the detection of a likely SHORT GRB

At 22:16:36 UT on 5 Mar 2024, the Fermi Gamma-ray Burst Monitor (GBM) triggered and located GRB 240305C (trigger 731369801.549802 / 240305928).

The on-ground calculated location, using the Fermi GBM trigger data, is RA = 261.1, Dec = -3.2 (J2000 degrees, equivalent to J2000 17h 24m, -3d 12'), with a statistical uncertainty of 9.1 degrees.

The angle from the Fermi LAT boresight is 74.0 degrees.
