The Fermi GBM team reports the detection of a likely LONG GRB

At 11:31:07 UT on 14 Mar 2024, the Fermi Gamma-ray Burst Monitor (GBM) triggered and located GRB 240314A (trigger 732108672.455724 / 240314480).

The on-ground calculated location, using the Fermi GBM trigger data, is RA = 142.2, Dec = 22.0 (J2000 degrees, equivalent to J2000 09h 28m, 22d 00'), with a statistical uncertainty of 6.3 degrees.

The angle from the Fermi LAT boresight is 32.0 degrees.
