The Fermi GBM team reports the detection of a likely LONG GRB
At 02:51:01 UT on 18 Mar 2024, the Fermi Gamma-ray Burst Monitor (GBM) triggered and located GRB 240318A (trigger 732423066.81932 / 240318119).
The on-ground calculated location, using the Fermi GBM trigger data, is RA = 275.1, Dec = -5.0 (J2000 degrees, equivalent to J2000 18h 20m, -5d 00'), with a statistical uncertainty of 4.8 degrees.
The angle from the Fermi LAT boresight is 53.0 degrees.
