The Fermi GBM team reports the detection of a likely SHORT GRB

At 12:21:22 UT on 28 Mar 2024, the Fermi Gamma-ray Burst Monitor (GBM) triggered and located GRB 240328A (trigger 733321287.517204 / 240328515).

The on-ground calculated location, using the Fermi GBM trigger data, is RA = 231.9, Dec = -3.8 (J2000 degrees, equivalent to J2000 15h 27m, -3d 47'), with a statistical uncertainty of 15.9 degrees.

The angle from the Fermi LAT boresight is 91.0 degrees.
