The Fermi GBM team reports the detection of a likely SHORT GRB
At 02:38:04 UT on 4 Apr 2024, the Fermi Gamma-ray Burst Monitor (GBM) triggered and located GRB 240404A (trigger 733891089.631386 / 240404110).
The on-ground calculated location, using the Fermi GBM trigger data, is RA = 257.0, Dec = -27.3 (J2000 degrees, equivalent to J2000 17h 07m, -27d 18'), with a statistical uncertainty of 13.3 degrees.
The angle from the Fermi LAT boresight is 93.0 degrees.
