We observed the EP240416A (Cheng et al., GCN 36138) with the ORI-40 telescope of Khureltogoot  observatory in Clear filter starting on 2024-04-16   (UT) 17:57:07. We did not detect the optical counterpart (Chen et al., GCN 36139; An et al., GCN 36144).   Preliminary photometry of a stacked image is the following

The photometry is based on nearby USNO-B1.0 (R2) stars.

The given results is in agreement with the upper limit obtained by (Xiong et al., GCN 36155).
