MASTER-SAAO robotic telescope (Global MASTER-Net: http://observ.pereplet.ru, Lipunov et al., 2010, Advances in Astronomy, vol. 2010, 30L) located in South Africa (South African Astronomical Observatory) started inspect of the Fermi GRB240516.57 (trigger No 737559855,21h 37m 57.60s , -62d 26m 24.0s, R=2.31) errorbox 34181 sec after notice time and 34214 sec after trigger time at 2024-05-16 23:14:25 UT, with upper limit up to 19.2 mag. The observations began at zenith distance = 57 deg. The sun altitude is -74.5 deg.
The galactic latitude b = -43 deg., longitude l = 331 deg.

We obtain a following upper limits.
