The Fermi GBM team reports the detection of a likely LONG GRB

At 07:07:25 UT on 27 May 2024, the Fermi Gamma-ray Burst Monitor (GBM) triggered and located GRB 240527A (trigger 738486450.988348 / 240527297).

The on-ground calculated location, using the Fermi GBM trigger data, is RA = 307.6, Dec = -15.4 (J2000 degrees, equivalent to J2000 20h 30m, -15d 24'), with a statistical uncertainty of 10.3 degrees.

The angle from the Fermi LAT boresight is 67.0 degrees.
