The Fermi GBM team reports the detection of a likely LONG GRB
At 10:09:11 UT on 3 Jun 2024, the Fermi Gamma-ray Burst Monitor (GBM) triggered and located GRB 240603C (trigger 739102156.345702 / 240603423).
The on-ground calculated location, using the Fermi GBM trigger data, is RA = 272.6, Dec = -35.8 (J2000 degrees, equivalent to J2000 18h 10m, -35d 47'), with a statistical uncertainty of 2.9 degrees.
The angle from the Fermi LAT boresight is 84.0 degrees.
