The Fermi GBM team reports the detection of a likely LONG GRB
At 14:34:38 UT on 5 Jun 2024, the Fermi Gamma-ray Burst Monitor (GBM) triggered and located GRB 240605C (trigger 739290883.214644 / 240605607).
The on-ground calculated location, using the Fermi GBM trigger data, is RA = 231.5, Dec = -74.4 (J2000 degrees, equivalent to J2000 15h 26m, -74d 24'), with a statistical uncertainty of 1.2 degrees.
The angle from the Fermi LAT boresight is 167.0 degrees.
