The Fermi GBM team reports the detection of a likely LONG GRB
At 18:50:17 UT on 14 Aug 2024, the Fermi Gamma-ray Burst Monitor (GBM) triggered and located GRB 240814C (trigger 745354222.94296 / 240814785).
The on-ground calculated location, using the Fermi GBM trigger data, is RA = 136.1, Dec = 47.2 (J2000 degrees, equivalent to J2000 09h 04m, 47d 12'), with a statistical uncertainty of 2.4 degrees.
The angle from the Fermi LAT boresight is 110.0 degrees.
