The Fermi GBM team reports the detection of a likely LONG GRB

"At 15:22:15.95 UT on 24 August 2024, the Fermi Gamma-ray Burst Monitor (GBM)
triggered and located GRB 240824C (trigger 746205740/240824640).

The on-ground calculated location, using the Fermi GBM trigger data,
is RA = 164.53, Dec = -28.50 (J2000 degrees, equivalent to J2000 10h 58m, -28d 30'),
with a statistical uncertainty of 5.97 degrees.

The angle from the Fermi LAT boresight is 36 degrees.
