E. Bissaldi (Politecnico and INFN Bari) reports on behalf of the Fermi Gamma-ray Burst Monitor Team:

"The Fermi Gamma-ray Burst Monitor (GBM) trigger 747837485/240912526 at 12:38:00.32 UT
on 12 September 2024, tentatively classified as GRB 240912B (GCN #37472), is in fact not due
to a GRB. This trigger is likely due to local particles."
