MASTER-SAAO robotic telescope (Global MASTER-Net: http://observ.pereplet.ru, Lipunov et al., 2010, Advances in Astronomy, vol. 2010, 30L) located in South Africa (South African Astronomical Observatory) was pointed to the Swift GRB241006.91 (trigger No 1258721,20h 19m 10.56s , -40d 47m 45.6s, R=0.05) errorbox 15 sec after notice time and 97 sec after trigger time at 2024-10-06 21:53:35 UT, with upper limit up to 18.3 mag. The observations began at zenith distance = 48 deg. The sun altitude is -51.7 deg.
The galactic latitude b = -34 deg., longitude l = 0 deg.
Real time updated cover map and OT discovered available here:
https://master.sai.msu.ru/site/master2/observ.php?id=2628121
We obtain a following upper limits.
Tmid-T0 | Site |Filt.| Expt. | Limit| Comment
_________|_____________________|_____|_______|______|________
108 | MASTER-SAAO | C | 20 | 18.3 |
147 | MASTER-SAAO | C | 20 | 18.3 |
Filter C is a clear (unfiltred) band.
The observation and reduction will continue.
