The Fermi GBM team reports the detection of a likely LONG GRB

"At 08:05:48.05 UT on 24 October 2024, the Fermi Gamma-ray Burst Monitor (GBM)
triggered and located GRB241024A (trigger 751449953/241024337).

The on-ground calculated location, using the Fermi GBM trigger data,
is RA = 117.29, Dec = -27.64 (J2000 degrees, equivalent to J2000 7h 49m, -27d 38'),
with a statistical uncertainty of 2.98 degrees.

The angle from the Fermi LAT boresight is 32 degrees.
