The Fermi GBM team reports the detection of a likely LONG GRB

At 19:36:21 UT on 24 Jun 2025, the Fermi Gamma-ray Burst Monitor (GBM) triggered and located GRB 250624A (trigger 772486586.849764 / 250624817).

The on-ground calculated location, using the Fermi GBM trigger data, is RA = 10.6, Dec = 16.6 (J2000 degrees, equivalent to J2000 00h 42m, 16d 36'), with a statistical uncertainty of 5.3 degrees.

The angle from the Fermi LAT boresight is 56.0 degrees.
