The Fermi GBM team reports the detection of a likely SHORT GRB
At 13:38:13 UT on 24 Aug 2025, the Fermi Gamma-ray Burst Monitor (GBM) triggered and located GRB 250824B (trigger 777735498.8624 / 250824568).
The on-ground calculated location, using the Fermi GBM trigger data, is RA = 248.3, Dec = -35.6 (J2000 degrees, equivalent to J2000 16h 33m, -35d 36'), with a statistical uncertainty of 7.7 degrees.
The angle from the Fermi LAT boresight is 27.0 degrees.
