The Fermi GBM team reports the detection of a likely LONG GRB
At 23:27:12 UT on 26 Sep 2026, the Fermi Gamma-ray Burst Monitor (GBM) triggered and located GRB 260926C (trigger 812158037.168668 / 260926977).
The on-ground calculated location, using the Fermi GBM trigger data, is RA = 313.8, Dec = 10.1 (J2000 degrees, equivalent to J2000 20h 55m, 10d 05'), with a statistical uncertainty of 5.3 degrees.
The angle from the Fermi LAT boresight is 46.0 degrees.
