We observed the field of GRB 261010A, detected by Swift (Lien et al., GCN 45889) and Fermi/GBM (Fermi GBM Team, GCN 45888), using the Sun Yat-sen University (SYSU) 80cm infrared telescope. Our J-band observations were carried out on 2026 Oct 11 from 13:25:44 to 14:24:51 UT, approximately 18.1–19.1 hours after the Swift/BAT trigger. We combined 171 exposures of 20 s each.

We do not detect a counterpart at the reported optical afterglow position (O'Neill et al., GCN 45890; Corcoran et al., GCN 45912), down to a 5-sigma limiting magnitude of J ~ 19.6 mag (Vega).
The SYSU 80cm infrared telescope is operated and managed by the Department of Astronomy, Sun Yat-sen University.
