GRB 060605: TNG optical observations

We observed the afterglow of GRB 060605 (Page et al., GCN 5221Not found
 
 
; Rykoff & 
Schaefer, GCN 5220Not found
 
 
) with the 3.6m TNG telescope, starting at 02:55 UT 
(8.64 hr after the burst). In a single 3-min exposure the afterglow is 
well detected with a magnitude R~19.65 after comparison with several 
USNO stars.
