GRB 070412: Nearby bright galaxy

E. O. Ofek (Caltech) and E. Berger (Carnegie) reports on behalf of a larger 
collaboration:

The XRT error circle of GRB 070412 (Romano et al. 2007; GCN 6273), 
coincides with the outskirts of a nearby (z=0.037) bright (r=13.6) galaxy 
(CGCG 215-024).

The XRT position is 46.5" from the galaxy center (34 kpc projected).

The SDSS coordinates of the galaxy are:
 	RA = 12:06:07.818
 	DEC= +40:09:02.68 (J2000)
