K. Hurley, on behalf of the Ulysses GRB team,
T. Cline, on behalf of the Konus-Wind and NEAR GRB teams,
and E. Mazets, and S. Golenetskii, on behalf of the KONUS-WIND GRB team, report:
Ulysses, NEAR, and KONUS-WIND observed this GRB at 86375 seconds.
As observed by Ulysses, it had a duration of approximately 10.
seconds, a 25-100 keV fluence of approximately 7.3E-06 erg/cm2,
and a peak flux of approximately 2.0E-06 erg/cm2 s over 0.25 seconds
We have triangulated it to a preliminary, 3 sigma error
whose approximate area is 26. sq. arcmin. and whose
coordinates are:
RA(2000) DEC(2000)
ERROR BOX CENTER: 17 h 11 m 44.08 s 35 o 20 ' 13.51 "
ERROR BOX CORNER 1: 17 h 11 m 35.00 s 35 o 19 ' 45.73 "
ERROR BOX CORNER 2: 17 h 12 m 5.56 s 35 o 14 ' 18.33 "
ERROR BOX CORNER 3: 17 h 11 m 22.60 s 35 o 26 ' 8.49 "
ERROR BOX CORNER 4: 17 h 11 m 53.16 s 35 o 20 ' 41.28 "

report:
We have observed the error box of GRB001019 as part
of the monitoring effort by the AAVSO GRB network.
R-band images of the entire error box taken 001021
at 0100 UT with a limiting magnitude of R=18.0, based on
USNO-A2.0 reference stars, do not show any new object
in comparison with the DSS scans of the POSS-II red plate.
Unfiltered images with a similar limiting magnitude and
covering about 95 percent of the error box, taken 001021
between 0200 and 0300 UT, do not show any new object.
