From
Kevin Hurley at UCBerkeley/SSL <khurley@sunspot.ssl.berkeley.edu>
K. Hurley, on behalf of the Ulysses GRB team,
T. Cline, on behalf of the Konus-Wind and NEAR GRB teams,
and E. Mazets, and S. Golenetskii, on behalf of the KONUS-WIND GRB team, report:
Ulysses, NEAR, and KONUS-WIND observed this GRB at 59128 seconds.
As observed by Ulysses, it had a duration of approximately 30.
seconds, a 25-100 keV fluence of approximately 4.6E-06 erg/cm2,
and a peak flux of approximately 1.3E-06 erg/cm2 s over .25 seconds
We have triangulated it to a preliminary, 3 sigma error
whose approximate area is 25. sq. arcmin. and whose
coordinates are:
RA(2000) DEC(2000)
ERROR BOX CENTER: 13 h 1 m 53.82 s 35 o 29 ' 19.25 "
ERROR BOX CORNER 1: 13 h 2 m 27.45 s 35 o 26 ' 38.15 "
ERROR BOX CORNER 2: 13 h 1 m 48.63 s 35 o 27 ' 54.46 "
ERROR BOX CORNER 3: 13 h 1 m 59.00 s 35 o 30 ' 44.04 "
ERROR BOX CORNER 4: 13 h 1 m 20.12 s 35 o 31 ' 59.97 "

V. Mohan, Ram Sagar, S.B. Pandey (UPSO, Nainital), and
A. J. Castro-Tirado, IAA-CSIC (Granada) and LAEFF-INTA (Madrid),
on behalf of a larger collaboration,
report:
"We have imaged 90% of the error box for GRB 001105 (Hurley et al.,
GCN 874) with the 1.0-m telescope of U.P. State Observatory, Nainital.
A single R-band frame (300-s exposure time) was obtained on Nov 6.99 UT
(i.e. 31 hours after the GRB). No new objects are seen within the error
box when comparing to the DSS-2 (R-band), down to a limiting magnitude
of R = 19.5. Deeper optical/NIR images of this "north galactic pole"
burst are encouraged."

From
Arne A. Henden at USNO/USRA <aah@nofs.navy.mil>
A. Henden (USRA/USNO) reports on behalf of the USNO GRB team:
We have acquired BVRcIc all-sky photometry
with the USNOFS 1.0-m telescope for
an 11x11 arcmin field that is centered on the IPN
error box (Hurley et al. GCN 874) for GRB001105.
The photometric data is based on a single photometric
night, but with poor seeing. Additional photometry will
be acquired if an optical transient is found in this error box.
We have placed the photometric data on our anonymous ftp site:
ftp://ftp.nofs.navy.mil/pub/outgoing/aah/grb/grb001108.dat
The astrometry in this file is based on linear plate solutions
with respect to USNO-A2.0. The internal errors are less than 100mas.

V. Mohan, Ram Sagar, S.B. Pandey (UPSO, Nainital),
on behalf of a larger collaboration,
report:
"We have obtained further imaging of 90% of the error box for GRB
001105 (Hurley et al. GCN 874), with the 1.23 and 2.2-m telescopes
at the German-Spanish Calar Alto Observatory and with the 1.0-m
telescope at the US Naval Observatory Flagstaff Station, thus
adding to the results given by Mohan et al. (CGN 875) with the 1.0-m
telescope at the U. P. State Observatory. Only the outermost eastern and western corners of the GRB error box were not covered by our images.
The summary of the observations is detailed below:
-----------------------------------------------------------------
Date (UT) Telescope filter exposure limiting
(Start) (sec) mag.
-----------------------------------------------------------------
Nov. 06.99 1.0 UPSO R 300 20.0
Nov. 08.45 1.0 NOFS R 720 20.5
Nov. 09.19 1.23 CAHA R 7 * 500 22.1
Nov. 09.22 1.23 CAHA B 600 21.5
Nov. 09.45 1.0 NOFS I 3 * 600 20.0
Nov. 30.23 2.2 CAHA R 2 * 300 22.0
-----------------------------------------------------------------
The photometric calibration was done based on the reference
stars provided by Henden (GCN 876). A comparison of the different
images reveals no fading object down to the limiting magnitudes
given in the table."
