From
Fermi GBM Team at MSFC/Fermi-GBM <do_not_reply@GIOC.nsstc.nasa.gov>
The Fermi GBM team reports the detection of a likely SHORT GRB

At 02:25:56 UT on 15 Mar 2022, the Fermi Gamma-ray Burst Monitor (GBM) triggered and located GRB 220315A (trigger 669003961.874798 / 220315101).

The on-ground calculated location, using the Fermi GBM trigger data, is RA = 236.1, Dec = -76.8 (J2000 degrees, equivalent to J2000 15h 44m, -76d 47'), with a statistical uncertainty of 3.5 degrees.

The angle from the Fermi LAT boresight is 21.0 degrees.

The skymap can be found here:

MASTER Global Robotic Net (http://observ.pereplet.ru, Lipunov et al., 2010, Advances in Astronomy, vol. 2010, 30L)
started Fermi GRB 220315A (Fermi GBM team GCN 31758, Ttrigger= 2022-03-15 02:25:56 UT) alert observations at
MASTER-OAFA robotic telescope, located in Argentina (OAFA observatory of San Juan National University)
518 sec after notice time (549 sec after trigger time) at 2022-03-15 02:35:05 UT, with upper limit up to 17.8 mag.
The observations began at zenith distance = 61 deg. The sun altitude was -44.7 deg.
The galactic latitude b = -18 deg.,longitude l = 313 deg.

MASTER-SAAO started observations just after sunset at 2022-03-15 17:39:36UT with upper limits 17.0 mag at first image.
The observations began at 23deg altitude, the sun altitude was -10deg.

Real time updated cover map and OT, that can be discovered, will be available here:
https://master.sai.msu.ru/site/master2/observ.php?id=1911047

We obtained the following upper limits at first images
Tmid-T0 | Date Time | Site | Coord (J2000) |Filt.| Expt. | Limit| Comment
