From
Fermi GBM Team at MSFC/Fermi-GBM <do_not_reply@GIOC.nsstc.nasa.gov>
The Fermi GBM team reports the detection of a likely LONG GRB

At 10:10:02 UT on 3 Apr 2022, the Fermi Gamma-ray Burst Monitor (GBM) triggered and located GRB 220403A (trigger 670673407.661128 / 220403424).

The on-ground calculated location, using the Fermi GBM trigger data, is RA = 56.5, Dec = -44.3 (J2000 degrees, equivalent to J2000 03h 46m, -44d 17'), with a statistical uncertainty of 15.3 degrees.

The angle from the Fermi LAT boresight is 14.0 degrees.

The skymap can be found here:

GRB 220403A: Tautenburg observations
Date
2022-04-03T22:57:37Z (3 years ago)
From
Ana Nicuesa at TLS Tautenburg <ana@tls-tautenburg.de>
A. Nicuesa Guelbenzu, B. Stecklum, S. Klose, S. Melnikov, and
U. Ludwig (all Tautenburg) report:

Tautenburg started observing the field of GRB 220403A (Klingler et
al. GCN 31820) at 2022-04-03, 21:35:37 UT, using the 1.34m Schmidt
telescope equipped with the TAUKAM 6k x 6k CCD camera. Observations
are still ongoing.

At a mean time 21:36:07 UT for the optical transient discovered by
Swift/UVOT, we measure the following magnitude:

r = 19.28 +/- 0.04 mag (AB),

calibrated against the Pan-STARRS catalog. Compared to the observations
reported by Jelinek et al. (GCN 31821), the source is fading.
