From
Fermi GBM Team at MSFC/Fermi-GBM <do_not_reply@GIOC.nsstc.nasa.gov>
The Fermi GBM team reports the detection of a likely LONG GRB

At 13:06:30 UT on 16 Mar 2023, the Fermi Gamma-ray Burst Monitor (GBM) triggered and located GRB 230316A (trigger 700664795.31625 / 230316546).

The on-ground calculated location, using the Fermi GBM trigger data, is RA = 273.1, Dec = -64.9 (J2000 degrees, equivalent to J2000 18h 12m, -64d 54'), with a statistical uncertainty of 1.7 degrees.

The angle from the Fermi LAT boresight is 54.0 degrees.

The skymap can be found here:

MASTER-SAAO robotic telescope (Global MASTER-Net: http://observ.pereplet.ru, Lipunov et al., 2010, Advances in Astronomy, vol. 2010, 30L) located in South Africa (South African Astronomical Observatory) started inspect of the Fermi GRB 230316A ( Fermi GBM team, GCN 33481) errorbox 29242 sec after notice time and 29277 sec after trigger time at 2023-03-16 21:14:27 UT, with upper limit up to 18.3 mag. The observations began at zenith distance = 71 deg. The sun altitude is -49.7 deg.

The galactic latitude b = -21 deg., longitude l = 330 deg.
